Can we talk about my beloved dandelion greens? 🥬

They are my favorite leafy green! 💚
I even have a nickname for them... Dandy Greens. 😂
Dandy greens have tons of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. They are a majorly underrated powerhouse!
They help promote liver function and remove toxins from the body.
Translation: If you are a quarantine wine mom like me, you need dandy greens in your life.

Dandy greens also help to:
- regulate blood sugar
- reduce inflammation
- boost metabolism
- improve heart health
- prevent cancer
- protect kidney health as a diuretic
- and boost the immune system
There are tons of dandy supplements on the market, but the BEST way to reap the benefits of dandy greens is to start incorporating them into your diet! They are an acquired taste - think arugula on steroids - but I'll be posting easy ways to incorporate dandy greens into your diet that help mask their bitter taste. Stay tuned!
In the meantime, try them in smoothies, on sandwiches in lieu of lettuce, chopped into salads, sauteed with other greens as a side dish, or throw them in scrambled eggs! 🙌🥬💚🙌
