Give Your Liver Some Support!

Your liver is the center of your body’s filtration and detoxification systems. It’s a majorly under-rated organ!


The liver helps keep your blood clean, metabolizes everything you consume, and converts toxins into waste products.


It’s important to keep your liver healthy by supporting its functions, and equally as important to limit overindulgences.


Trust me, your liver is exhausted. It needs all the support it can get.


Whether you indulge in desserts, fast food, or drink alcohol (or simply live in the WORLD with all its pollutants) you need to support your liver and give it some love.


You don’t need to do a detox or a juice cleanse.


Your liver is constantly in a state of detoxing your body. It’s doing the work of detoxing for you… all the time… every day.

Moms have been disproportionately affected by this pandemic. There. I said it.


Homeschooling, working from home, being the rock for our children who are constantly disappointed and sad… All this in addition to the usual mom stuff… cleaning the house, making the lunches, meal planning, etc All the things.


Most of the self care practices moms used pre-pandemic are not available to us right now. The things we used to rely on to refill our cups are gone.


Those cups… those wells... they're empty. So instead, we turn to a glass. Amirite?


So many of my clients and friends are having a nightly glass of wine to attempt to refill that empty well. No judgement.


I ardently believe that wine (in moderation) can be a part of a healthy and happy lifestyle. Slowing down and pairing wine with a meal is one of life’s simple luxuries.


But if you’re finding that its becoming a daily thing, I would challenge you to 1. examine that and 2. help your liver out with some simple support practices. Nothing earth shattering - drink enough water, get 8 hours of sleep, and exercise/sweat as often as possible.
