Once you make homemade stock, you will never buy store bought again! So nutritious and couldn't be easier to make. It all starts with the carcass of a roasted bird that you might have just thrown out!

You can use chicken or turkey carcasses to make stock. Turkey stock has an added richness to it.

I NEVER throw out the carcass from my roasted birds. Every time you roast a bird, save the carcass to make stock!

Here's how:

Fill a large crock pot with:

✅ Water

✅ Bird carcass

✅ Two carrots

✅ Three celery stalks

✅ One garlic head halved (you can leave the skins on!)

✅ One onion halved (you can leave the skins on!)

Simmer overnight on your crock pot's low heat setting.

Strain and portion out into freezable containers.

Congratulations! You make stock!

Keep this in the freezer all winter long to cure whatever ails you.

Makes the perfect base for soups, stews and gravy!
