Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Bowl

I call this my pumpkin pie smoothie recipe, but the secret ingredient is actually sweet potato!


It is reminiscent of pumpkin pie, and is super healthy and filling! 🥧


You can serve as a smoothie or as a bowl. I like to top with pecans, granola or fruit. 🥤


Recipe:

One soft roasted sweet potato (chilled)

1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice*

1/4 teaspoon ginger

1 1/2 cups of vanilla unsweetened almond milk

3 cubes of ice


Blend and enjoy!


*You could easily sub the pumpkin pie spice for 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/8 teaspoon cloves.


P.S. If your almond milk isn't vanilla flavored, I'd throw in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
